Joa Boggon

Joaquín is a photographer whose work is shaped by movement, place, and cultural context. Raised on Argentina’s Atlantic coast, he later studied in La Plata before spending two years traveling overland from Argentina to Colombia through Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador — a journey that deeply influenced the way he observes and documents the world. Since then, he has lived in different regions of Argentina, spent four years in Costa Rica, and traveled extensively through Europe. An advanced scuba diver, he has expanded his practice into underwater photography while continuing to work across documentary, commercial, and portrait projects. Drawn to images that feel honest, timeless, and grounded in a sense of place, Joaquín approaches photography as a lifelong practice rather than a profession alone.
